Had A Pampering Week..

Went on a pampering spree last week..
Now I'm all pretty but broke.. Haha..
Went to do facial and pedicure at Alveda on Wednesday..

Followed by waxing at Strips straight after that..

Went to cut my hair on Saturday.. Trim actually..
Having a weird fringe now.. Just weird.. Luckily it grows pretty fast..
And lastly.. Had my nails done again.. Love my pretty extensions with romantic rosies..
Keke.. All thanks to Cyn..

Also pampered my stomach with baby on Sunday..
Had an expensive and filling meal at Marches Vivocity..
Not so fantastic food & variety but great service..

Ok.. Before my blog gets torn down by spiders..
Here's a little update for my trip to JB..
Went GO-KARTING!!
Hee.. Can tell how excited i am??
Especially when I still don't have my license yet..
And i can drive up to a speed of 60km/hr in a go-kart!!
Haha.. Yah yah.. To those who drive this is not very fast ok?
But for me.. it is lor..
Since my stupid instructor only let me drive up to 45km/hr.. Grrrr!!

Anyway, back to the topic..
Had the MOST enjoyable time playing in JB..
Can "kup" corner without slowing down lor.. Woohoo!!
Uber exciteness.. Speeding is legal!!
And go-karting there is cheap too..
So had lotsa fun.. Hee..

Oki doks.. I'm finally back to blog!!

Well.. Before "someone" tears down my blog with complaints that is..

Haha.. Really been very busy with work and all..

Finally took some time off, got 1 week leave to get everything done..

***Christmas Pressie***

My long awaited Christmas day finally arrived by e end of yr 2008..

Baby promised to either get me a Coach or a Gucci bag..

Went to the respestive retail shops to look at their bags and finally decided on Gucci..

So excited lor.. Haha.. My 1st Gucci bag!!

Thanks baby..

And not forgetting the arrival of my supplementary credit cards..

Woohoo!! Shopping here i come!!

***Prawning***

Baby and I've been spending much time going prawning nowadays..

Just sitting around waiting for the prawns to bite may be boring for a lot of ppl..

But i feel these are times we can chat and relax while spending time together..

Anyway baby and us met each other the 1st time when I went to the prawning place at Marina.. Lol.. Candy brought me there to meet up with baby's fren..

And there I saw this chao ah beng with a ciggie in his mouth and one leg on the prawning pond's ledge trying to catch something..

1st impression: not good.. Haha..

Come to find that he's not so bad after all..

So you know the end of this story marking the beginning of another..

Anyway back to prawning..

We are kinda making it our hobby now..

We mostly go to Bishan park's prawning pond on weekends..

***Chinese New Year***

Just like every other new year, the 1st thing would be getting my pretty nails done..

This year i've decided on acrylic extensions as my poor nails have been very short due to occasional breakge.. Sobs..

Saw this blog from Candy's page and was amazed with the beautiful nails..

So decided to drop by Cynthia's place to get my nails done..

She didn't disappoint.. I left her house a happy gal with very gorgeous nails.. *beams*

Next up for CNY would of cos be Tuan Yuan Fan..

Our reunion dinner has always been the same..

STEAMBOAT!!

My favourite.. Haha..

With lots and lots of golden mushrooms, veggies, fishballs, abalone, crabmeat, prawns, fish & many many more..

Talking about it makes me crave for steamboat now.. *stomach growling*

Oh well.. Tadah!! This yr's sumptous food!!

After dinner, baby & I left for Chun Dao He Pan..

Been religious for the past 3 yrs we've spent CNY together..

We'll go and enjoy the qi fen and fireworks after 12am..

They sell different kinds of food every year too.. Not bad at all..

This year we had firecrackers instead of fireworks..

Yeah and of cos during the festive season of gathering family & frens..
We meet up with Ian & Pearly..
Had a short gambling session..
Lost quite a bit to already-very-rich Ian.. *pouts*
So next time go KL will eat his, live his and play his.. hahah... *Bleah*
Other than that.. Always have a good time catching up with them.. :)

Oh right... How can we forget the LOU HEI session??
Every year, every house we go, sure there will be lou hei..
For prosperity, good luck, health & fortune for the whole year..

***Company CNY Chalet (cum gambling den)***

Haha.. I always loved chalets..
Cos it would mean a lot of good food & mahjong sessions..
And it being CNY just means MORE good food.. *slurp slurp*
And A LOT of gambling..
My favourite part of this chalet??
Chilli & Pepper crab altogether!!
Wahahahaha..
I couldn't stop eating..
Then we had a few black jack sessions..
Mahjong afterwards..
Won a bit of money.. *cha ching!*
Enjoyable time spent with colleagues..

Baby made me a happy gal on this special day..

Planned out what to do, where to go, what to eat and other stuff..

So I just sat back and enjoyed..

Although it was simple things we did, it's e company that counts..

Had a wonderful time tat day..

Got him a NIKE bag for pressie cos his school bag was getting old..

He bought us a new pair of couple rings..

Went to attend a scrapbooking session with Candy at Jurong Point..

Did it as a favour for Michelle..

Thing was held at Harris bookstore where Michelle was woring at..

Guess they had a promotion & needed ppl to attend..

So being lovers of scrapbooking, me & Candy went for it..

Turn out it was a promotional event for 3M..

They had quite a few useful items like different kind of glue that won't leak on paper to make them look blotchy & stuff..

After the session, we had lunch cum dinner at this Lai Lai Cafe..

They actually sold mainly beef dishes but had pork stuff too..

So Candy had beef while I had pork..

Cos of religion I've never touched beef before..

Baby joined us a little while later & we went shopping at JP after that..

CHUNK 7: A night at City Space..

Was out shopping with Vivi one day when she decided to bring me to a very nice jazz bar..
Sitting on the 72nd floor of Swissotel the Stamford, City Space's view was spectacular..
Accompanying the beautiful view was the great jazz music playing in the background..
After ordering a few drinks & taking lots of photos, their band started playing..
The voice of the singer was good.. Songs well chosen too..
Amidst all the other chattering, we could still hear the wonderful melodies..
I was too caught up with photo taking with ken, while Viv was busy fidgeting with her new camera to get the correct settings..
Finally finishing off our drinks, we decided to leave..
It was a wonderful night.. Nice view, nice music, great company..
A comfortable place to chill out..
Will be back there again..

Went to meet her at Jumbo Seafood restaurant at ECP..
Got a treat of chilli crabs while the bdae gal had shark's fin,
scallops & chilli crabs..
Big big meal.. Haha.. Yummy too..
After dinner we had a few drinks at the nearby pub..
Took quite a few pics actually but i dono where they all went.. -_-||
